ROOF SERVICES

Fields Roof Service, Inc. specializes in the installation of roof systems for commercial, industrial, and governmental buildings.  FRS is certified to install built-up roofing systems using refined rubberized asphalt, high strength polyester and fiberglass, modified bitumen (torch-down) systems, composition and single-ply systems with written guarantees from 2 to 20 years.  FRS also provides consultation, maintenance programs, and written specifications.

Built-Up Roofing  This process involves applying several layers of roofing plies embedded in an ambient-asphalt product in lieu of hot asphalt and gravel.  It has proven over many years to be a reliable and efficient roof system. The application is cost effective, easy to maintain, and can be ideal for low-slope roofs.

Modified Bitumen Membranes  Modified Bitumen is an asphalt combined with plasticizers and manufactured into a final product. The manufactured rolls are applied with a torch.  The blended asphalt has elongation and recovery properties, and is better able to deal with the stresses created by wind, temperature fluctuation, and normal roof-top expansion and contraction.

Single-Ply Roofing Systems  Single-ply membranes provide the ability to cover a 10,000 square foot area with less labor.  The membrane has outstanding UV resistance and has unmatched resistance to the elements.

Maintenance and Repair Services  FRS is always on call to fix your roof emergencies, such as leaks or wind and water damage.  We also perform a preventative maintenance service called winterizing, so that you won't have those unfortunate events during the cold months.

Steep-Slope Roofing  Roof removals and composite shingle installations are performed on all sizes of residences and apartment complexes by FRS.  The style, size, and color can vary greatly.

Aluminum Coating and UV Protection  Applying aluminum reflective coating to a roof can greatly lower the heat loads of a roof, which in turn can lower utility bills.

Metal Roof Coating  Extend the life of your metal roof by coating it.  The metal roof is first pressure washed to strip away the dirt and debris, and then the rubber coating is applied to the roof.  Rubber roof coating provides a cost effective solution for many of today's roofing problems.
